Another Semester

It is official the fall semester starts next week, and it puts me one semester closer to the goal of graduation. We did have one last adventure before going back, and it took place in Yellowstone National Park. Growing up my family would go to Yellowstone at least one a year for a vacation I thought maybe I should continue that tradition with my family. I was shocked to discover that my wife of almost 7 years has only ever been to Old Faithful once and never camped in the park. With this camping trip I not only had two wide eyed girls but one in awe wife. It was cute to watch my children light up with each animal that came into view. To hear there little excited voices asking questions about Old Faithful, geysers, and any bug that came into view. Most of all it was entertaining to watch as my wife experienced more of Yellowstone for the first time. :)

Summer 09'

This summer has been very fun. M has enjoyed her time during her internship. We have seen some new sights and done lots of activities for the girls. But if you were to ask me what one thing was the most exciting that would be finding out that we are going to have another child. Yep that is right we are expecting number 3 in February.

Fall Fun

Even though the Autumn season started a wile ago It was not until yesterday that our tree out front started to drop it's leafs.  Our sidewalk, grass, and car was covered in a thick layer of leafs.  We decides to take advantage of the new fallen leafs by gartering them up into a large pile and jump in them.  M and I have never played like this in the leafs so what a perfect time to start and share what we missed out on growing up and make sure that our girls have a good memories.  We jumped in piles of leaf tossed had full of leafs into the air and took lots of pictures.  It turned out to be a good opportunity to grow closer as a family.

Funny things that my girls have said to me

My wife and I decided one day to get a chore chart going for our children to get them motivated to do more around the house.  When we finely found one and started using it my eldest who was overly excited about the chart asked me "Daddy what's on my schedule for today?"

Lately my youngest has been in this fascination with Winnie the Pooh.  Well one day she was trying to get ready for the day and was having trouble putting her shirt on.  I was about ready to help her when she frustrated exclaimed "oh! bother".  Needles to say Winnie the Pooh has been shelved. :-)

I WON

Yesterday when we were at Wal-mart my d.d. wanted to go to the play room so we did. However she was to scared to ride on any of the rides so we found a crane game with stuffed animal. So I tried to get a prize. On the first try I almost won a white stuffed bear but at the last second it fell down half hanging over the prize shoot. Of course I could not give up with my prize so close to falling into the shoot. So I tried one more time and lo and behold not only one prize but two This was the first time that I have ever won from this type of game and on top of that I got two prizes! Then latter that day at work I found out that I had won the prize drawing they were having. What a day.
